The Role
As VP, Strategic Accounts, you will be responsible for achieving annual revenue, retention, and growth targets across the Americas client base. You will be responsible for all commercial aspects of our existing clients, including sales (new and cross sell), contract definition and execution, relationship management, partnership definition, and client specific publicity.
Demyst’s target market is Tier 1 Banks & Insurers; typical buyers are Chief Data Officers and their teams; and deals have an enterprise sales size, length, and complexity. Working with internal technical subject matter and data experts you will lead the strategy, activity, and closing of new sales motions across your target accounts.
To achieve quota, you will need to gain an intimate knowledge of your clients, and as such should expect to spend significant time traveling within the region to be onsite with them. You will be the voice of your customers internally and should keep up to date with the latest industry trends and topics.

This role is based in New York, NY, and requires significant travel within the region, and as such, you will need to be based in the US, within commutable distance of a major airport to facilitate travel.
Compensation for this role is $102,000 to $125,000.
Responsibilities
Lead the commercial strategy that will include the design and delivery of commercial best practices that maximize and capture value (profitable revenue) within the client success function
Responsible for achieving annual revenue, retention, and growth targets across the Americas client base
Responsible for all commercial aspects of our existing clients, including sales (new and cross sell), contract definition and execution, relationship management, partnership definition, and client specific publicity
Leading clients’ first use case deployments to rapidly achieve first value from Demyst’s products
Driving successful adoption of Demyst’s platform across multiple clients, use cases, and client teams
Effectively manage projects with varying levels of support including compliance / regulatory administration and internal project documentation
Manage by metrics and communicate results, including challenges
Oversee and guide teams’ development and ownership of the client account strategy
Analyze information and evaluate results to select the most optimal implementation plans that include analyses such as value based external data recommendations, cost-benefit or return on investment (ROI)
Oversee project plans for projects including information such as project objectives, technologies, systems, information specifications, schedules, funding, and staffing
Monitor project milestones and deliverables; Utilize technology and computer systems (including hardware and software) to supervise programming, solution workflows, and data or process information
Stay current with external data and cutting-edge technology in the market and apply new ideas to projects and solutions
Requirements
Master’s degree or equivalent in Computer Engineering or Computer Science or Analytics/Data Science or closely related fields
1 year of experience in the position or as Software Engineer, Deployment Strategist or any related position
Experience selling into Banking, Insurance, and FinTech industries, with a strong understanding of the core functions and roles within the client, as well as the external factors and strategic goals across the industry
Proficient enough technically to understand both client & Demyst data architecture, tools, and workflows - coordinating with technical pre-sales to propose Demyst deployment patterns and post sales to deploy and support agreed solutions
Proven stakeholder management and engagement - up, down, and across the client organization, and within Demyst
Strong ability to influence through thought leadership and consultation at all levels within global, matrixed organizations
Excellent listening skills, a polished interpersonal style, and strong emotional intelligence
Be based and have a right to work in the United States, and be situated within driving distance of a major airport to facilitate travel
Prior knowledge of enterprise sales methodologies (e.g., MEDDPICC) desirable
