Laundry Attendant

DBS Staffing Services, Inc. is currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Laundry Attendant to join our client's team. The Laundry Attendant role plays a vital part in ensuring clean and fresh linens for the clients' guests.
Responsibilities
Main responsibility will be operating linen folding machines according to procedures and guidelines.
If required, the candidate will also help on the washer and dryers.
Inspect linens for damages or stains and report any issues to the supervisor.
Organize and maintain a clean and orderly laundry facility.
Handle and store chemicals and cleaning agents properly, following safety protocols.
Assist with inventory management and report any shortages or discrepancies.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure a smooth workflow and timely completion of tasks.
Pay rate to be $14 to $16 an hour depending on experience.
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a laundry role preferred.
Ability to lift and carry heavy bags of linens.
Attention to detail and ability to identify stains or damages.
Flexibility is a must, working hours are 2 PM to 8 PM, 6 days a week.
Ability to tolerate high temperatures as the facility can become very hot during summer.
Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
