Real Estate Associate - Junior to Mid-Level

We are seeking junior to mid-level associates for a Real Estate Practice Group in its Washington, DC office. With over 65 lawyers across the firm's U.S. offices, the Real Estate Practice Group is involved in a wide range of transactions, including development, equity financing, debt financing, purchases and sales, public/private partnerships, and leasing. The Real Estate Practice Group in the Washington, DC office includes 14 lawyers and is consistently ranked in the highest tier by Chambers.
The primary focus of the group is representing real estate developers, owners, users, and institutions in the Washington metropolitan region in transactions involving large-scale commercial, residential, hotel, and mixed-use projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist senior attorneys in various aspects of commercial real estate transactions, including due diligence, drafting and reviewing agreements, and client communications.
Conduct legal research and analysis related to real estate matters.
Collaborate with internal teams and external parties to ensure smooth execution of transactions.
Participate in client meetings and negotiations.
Maintain accurate and organized documentation for each transaction.
Stay updated on relevant laws, regulations, and industry trends.
Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of experience working on commercial real estate transactions.
Excellent academic credentials and references.
Strong writing skills with attention to detail.
Currently licensed to practice law in Washington, DC, or currently eligible to become licensed.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
Demonstrated commitment to excellence and professionalism.
