Sigma Defense is seeking a Software Integration & Test Engineer to provide on-site support to DevOps through developing and testing software tools using open-source software within a containerized environment.

Requirements
Must be a citizen of the United States.
2-5 years of experience Installing, testing, configuring, upgrading, compiling, and supporting COTS/GOTS.
Familiarity with Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) principles and applications.
General technical knowledge of compute, network, memory, and storage system components.
Experience with IaC (Infrastructure as Code) principles and automation tools.
Knowledge and experience troubleshooting Linux Clusters.
Experience using system monitoring tools.
Experience with containerization technologies.
Ability to administer and monitor Kubernetes clusters.
Understanding and experience using the Atlassian Tool Suite.
Experience using Git for version control.
Use of Helm to deploy Kubernetes applications.
Experience using GitLab and CI/CD pipelines.
Compose documentation for the full software stack.
Update software sustainment support.
Basic Linux system administration skills and shell scripting.
Ability to execute test codes for characterization of software performance.
Provide software product ownership for HPC tools.
Demonstrated working knowledge of CM tools, web documentation, and Issue tracking.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and switch between various architectural paradigms.
Must have the ability to work on-site In Lexington Park, Maryland USA (NAS- Pax River).
Preferred Experience:
P-8A Application Based Architecture (ABA) and or,
P-8A Tactical Open Mission (TOMS) software and TOMS Software Development Environment (SDE).
Personnel Clearance Level:
Candidate must possess an active, DoD issued Secret security clearance.
Education Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Science or related field of study.

Salary Range: $75,000 - $110,000 annually.
