LAC Federal is seeking a Project Supervisor to provide planning, oversight, and support for a records management program in the Washington, D.C. area. The Supervisor will oversee a team of six conducting an extensive records review for a major federal agency sub-component. The Supervisor will be responsible for developing and planning a schedule, ensuring that staff work product conform to all NARA and agency requirements, and supervising staff across four separate physical locations in Washington, D.C.
Duties and Responsibilities
Plan, direct and supervise the work of records managers and records information specialists
Review staff work for accuracy and completness
Meet with agency personnel to discuss records and file plans
Requirements
Master’s degree in either archival or records management field or in a related specialty
NARA Certification strongly preferred
Minimum of 5 years providing supervision of records management projects
Expert knowledge of federal records management practices and guidelines for file plans and schedules
Ability to plan, direct, and monitor the work of others
Knowledge and experience with document and records management systems
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to respect confidentiality
Ability to perform routine work independently
Ability to communicate effectively and work in a multicultural environment
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office
Must be a US citizen and able to pass a background check
