Position Summary: The Nutrition Services Professional works under the general supervision of Nutrition Services leadership and according to defined policies and procedures and established schedules in performing a variety of duties and operating various pieces of equipment associated with patient and cafeteria meal service. Provides quality customer service and communicates patients' needs and food preferences to the Nutrition Services staff. Prepares basic food items, readies workstations for meal service, portions and serves food, operates cash register and handles money. Adheres to standards of production, safety, sanitation, infection control and maintains equipment and work areas in a clean and sanitary condition. Position Requirements: High School diploma or equivalent Strong customer service experience preferred
