JOB DESCRIPTION
886 bed LevelOne trauma center
Schedule-Straight Nights - Weekends, Holidays/On-Call/Callback/Charge per Unit Needs
URMC will consider 48 hours straight time
* Through clinical practice, service excellence, professional development, and research and evidence based practice, the Level II Registered Nurse, under the direction of the Nurse Manager, is accountable for provision of competent care based on established standards.
* The Level II Registered Nurse assumes an expanded role, which may include charge nurse, preceptor, and committee member responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS
* BLS and ACLS
* National Institutes of Health (NIH)
* Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
* The ability to stand for extended periods.
* Strong technical skills.
* Knowledge of medical terminology
* Passionate about patient care
* Requires a minimum of two years of current RN Neuro Med/Surg Telemetry experience.
* Graduate from a fully accredited RN program
* Active unencumbered New York RN state license
* Two years of Epic experience
* High acuity stroke and neurosurgery experience required
REQUIREMENTS
COVID vaccine with 2 Shots & Booster.
