Radiologist

JOB TITLE (#2860): Radiologist / Hybrid - Valley Stream, NY
Board Certified or Board Eligible
Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Radiologist to fill an opening with a Primary Care facility located in Valley Stream, New York.
Responsibilities of the Radiologist:
Evaluate patients’ medical histories to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not harm them.
Suggest alternative medical imaging techniques, when necessary.
Inform patients about the medical imaging process.
Use devices such as computer tomography (CT) scanners and magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) machines.
Perform or direct radiology staff to carry out image-guided, diagnostic procedures.
Work with radiology lab technicians to perfect image quality.
Interpret the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnoses.
Communicate and discuss results and diagnoses with physicians.
Compile written reports of results and diagnoses.
Follow medical protocols for resuscitation, bleeding, infection, or other emergency situations, when necessary
Requirements
Must have an active NY State License
Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible
Must be comfortable with MRI (Most cases is under MRI)
Must be comfortable in running the clinic (PC) remotely and do visit if needed only
Benefits
The salary for this position is $75 - $100 / reading (Negotiable)
This is a Full-time or a Part-time position with flexible schedule (90% remote but would need to visit the clinic at least twice a month)
Benefits are competitive and negotiable (depending on the Business Terms of Agreement)
