Responsibilities:
* Strategize optimal approaches for case resolution, prioritizing client satisfaction and cost-efficiency.
* Analyze discovery documents to tailor strategies for each case, ensuring favorable outcomes.
* Conduct comprehensive depositions and oral hearings for witnesses and experts, ensuring thorough case preparation.
* Engage in direct client communication to understand and address their legal needs and concerns effectively.
* Prepare and file all necessary legal documents for caseload management (averaging 150 cases).
* Supervise and mentor a team of two paralegals and collaborate to compile thorough case briefs for trial preparation.
* Manage a regular schedule of hearings, court appearances, and conferences as dictated by case requirements.
Qualifications:
* Minimum 5 years of experience in plaintiff's personal injury law.
* Active licensure in New Jersey.
* Proficient in negotiating settlements with insurance carriers and handling property damage claims.
* Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Suite and familiarity with Case Management and Document Management systems.
* Demonstrated ability to multitask and maintain organizational efficiency.
* Experience with trial proceedings.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills.
* Possesses attributes of teamwork, collaboration, and confidentiality.
* Willingness to travel for court appearances.
* Fluency in Spanish/English preferred.
