We are looking for a high caliber Business Analyst to start a project with strategic significance and high exposure. The ideal candidate is energized by working with large volumes of data, enjoys the challenge of complex business contexts, and is adept at partnering with business stakeholders to identify strategic opportunities where data-backed insights drive value creation. An effective communicator, the candidate crisply translates analysis into executive-facing documents. The ideal candidate is a self-starter, comfortable with ambiguity, able to think big (while paying careful attention to detail), and enjoys working in a fast-paced and global team. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: * Enable effective decision making by retrieving and aggregating data from multiple sources and compiling it into a digestible and actionable format * Partner with the team to create key performance indicators and new methodologies for measurement * Prepare and deliver business reviews to the senior management team regarding progress and roadblocks * Analyze historical and segmentation data to identify trends and insights * Design, develop, and maintain scaled, automated, user-friendly systems, reports, dashboards, etc. that will support business needs * Participate in strategic and tactical planning discussions If you enjoy dealing with high ambiguity, complexity, and broad scope that will be at the epicenter of our initiative, come join us! Basic Qualifications * BA/BS degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or related field * 3+ years of professional experience in a business analyst/data analyst/statistical analyst role * 3+ years of experience conducting analysis and data mining using Excel * Experience extracting and processing data using SQL * Experience with one or more major data visualization tools including Tableau/QuickSight/Power BI, etc. * Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling Amazon is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
