Position: Investment Management Associate Attorney
Location: Seattle, WA
Direct Counsel is seeking an Investment Management Associate Attorney with 3 to 7 years of experience for a leading law firm’s Investment Management practice group. This team advises a wide range of institutional clients, including public and private pension funds, family offices, endowments, universities, and sovereign entities, on traditional and alternative investment transactions.
About the Role:
As part of this cross-disciplinary practice, you will work with a highly collaborative team of attorneys and paralegals to support sophisticated investment strategies for institutional investors. The role offers exposure to high-level work, including managing complex transactions, negotiating agreements, and ensuring compliance in a range of investment areas.
Responsibilities:
Provide counsel on a variety of investment transactions for institutional clients
Draft and manage complex transaction documents and agreements
Collaborate with other practice areas on cross-functional projects
Engage with clients, providing strategic advice on a range of investment-related matters
Qualifications:
JD from an ABA-accredited law school; active law license required
3 to 7 years of experience in investment management, fund formation, or a related field
Excellent analytical, writing, and communication skills
Strong attention to detail and ability to handle multiple projects
Client-service oriented, with experience working independently and in teams
Compensation:
Annualized salary range: $170,000 to $195,000
Compensation based on experience, location, and other relevant factors.
