Tony Beef, a renowned restaurant in the culinary industry, is seeking a skilled and passionate Line Cook to join our team. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking a variety of dishes according to our restaurant's recipes and guidelines.
In this role, you will work closely with our kitchen team to ensure that each dish is prepared to perfection and meets our high standards for taste, presentation, and quality. You will be responsible for organizing and stocking ingredients, maintaining a clean and organized workstation, and adhering to all food safety and sanitation guidelines.
Responsibilities
Prepare and cook various dishes according to restaurant recipes and guidelines
Follow portion control guidelines and ensure high standards of presentation
Maintain a clean and organized workstation at all times
Ensure all dishes are prepared in a timely manner to meet customer expectations
Assist in developing and implementing menu items and specials
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Collaborate with kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient operations
Requirements
Prior experience as a Line Cook in a high-volume restaurant
Knowledge of various cooking techniques and food preparation methods
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Familiarity with food safety and sanitation regulations
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high quality and consistency
Excellent teamwork and communication skills
Ability to stand for long periods of time and lift heavy objects
Culinary degree or relevant certification is a plus
