Senior Test Engineer - Software / Chip Design (f/m/div)

In your new role you will:

• Be part of the Computer-Aided Test (CAT) team that is aiming to closely link chip design and test engineering tasks
• Develop software tools for the automation of IC test pattern, test program generation and simulation
• Be responsible for analysis of requirements, concept and specification, implementation, and testing/QA concepts of existing and new SW Tools and features
• Be the quality driver and responsible QA expert for this topic
• Provide user support, presentations/demos, and training for the users in the business units
• Collaborate with colleagues of chip design and test teams at world-wide Infineon sites

Your Profile
You are best equipped for this job if you have:

• A university / university of applied sciences (FH) degree in Computer Sciences, Telematics, Microelectronics, or equivalent
• Passion and 3+ years experience in C/C++ programming & maintenance and legacy code comprehension, scripting know-how in Python or C-Shell/Perl is helpful
• Excellent mindset and know how for software-quality, paired with strong communication and presentation skills
• Knowledge of GNU C/C++ compiler/linker suite, version control (GIT) and Linux is expected, Windows is a plus
• Experience in micro-electronics, HDL (System Verilog) e.g. chip verification/simulation (lab measurement/automation) is helpful
• Good command of English language, German is a plus

We are looking to fill this position through one of our partners. A valid Austrian work permit is a prerequisite. Our partner offers a payment of 3.921,29 EUR (gross) per month (14 times p.a.) according to the collective agreement for workers and employees in the electrical and electronics industry. A higher payment is negotiable depending on your expertise and skills. Furthermore, Infineon offers additional employee benefits.
