Our client is a global provider of power and thermal management solutions. They are looking for an ambitious Field Application Engineer to be based in Hoofddorp and surrounding areas. The Field Application Engineer will support on applications with Energy storage systems and power conditioning systems in commercial, industrial and Electric Vehicle charging applications.

The Field Application Engineer will support the Energy Infrastructure team and help support growth in Europe. This is an amazing role where you will have the opportunity to work in an international environment working alongside an passionate team in the Netherlands.

What your responsibilities will be?

-Delivering technical support to the sales and product marketing in a timely manner.

-Supporting the proposal preparation process

-Hold planning, installation, and service trainings.

-Contribute to identifying new market opportunities

-Occasionally on-site technical support at the customer site for complex technical challenges

-Support relationship management and service delivery to business customers in Europe

-Demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of our company's product lines

What you will bring?

-Ideally a Bachelors/master's degree in electrical engineering

-3-5 years of experience with energy storage systems or power conditioning systems is desirable

-Fluent in English (spoken and written) is essential

-Excellent technical knowledge related to integration of different

-Self-management of daily tasks with the ability to work independently as well as part of an international team.

-Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and troubleshooting skills

-Excellent customer focus, effective communication, and interpersonal skills

-Installation experience/certificate to work in low voltage grid

-Flexibility to travel (around 40-50% of the time)

-Must be willing to travel to their office in Hoofddorp
