YOUR OBJECTIVE
You help customers get to know what it means to be an Optimist. You greet customers with a smile and a story about our social mission, the Playmaker Project. You help each person feel comfortable and welcome. Using your Superpowers and your knack for knowing your stuff, you help each person leave with something good and the decision to come back soon.
YOUR JOB
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver positive and memorable customer experiences
Make sure we have the right balance of inventory to delight customers
Know how to quickly, efficiently, and accurately process customer purchases
Make sure the store is clean and inviting, including our behind-the-scenes areas
Do your part to keep our customers and your coworkers safe
Make it easy for customers to find exactly what they need – in the store and at
Proactively keep the store secure from shoplifters or fraudulent transactions through education, awareness and quick action
Be prepared and able to move constantly in a retail store environment approximately 5 – 8 hours per day
Be prepared and able to perform required movements like lifting, stooping, kneeling, reaching and pulling boxes off shelves and racks
Able to lift items weighing 5 – 25 lbs regularly.
Willing to work weekends and nights, as scheduled
Responsible for opening and closing store as scheduled

You have previous experience as a Key Holder or Shift Supervisor

You are trusted to capably and accurately process cash and card payments
