Plant Controller

Position Overview:
As the Plant Controller, you will play a critical role in overseeing all financial activities within our manufacturing facility. You will be responsible for ensuring the accuracy of financial reporting, analyzing operational performance, and implementing strategies to improve efficiency and profitability. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of accounting principles, excellent analytical skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with both financial and operational teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the financial reporting process, including monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Monitor and analyze manufacturing costs, variances, and operational performance to identify areas for improvement.
Develop and implement internal controls to safeguard company assets and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
Collaborate with operational teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and cost reduction initiatives.
Provide financial analysis and insights to support decision-making and drive continuous improvement efforts.
Lead and mentor finance team members, fostering a culture of accountability and professional development.
Partner with senior management to develop strategic plans and long-term financial objectives for the plant.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
Strong understanding of cost accounting principles and manufacturing processes.
Proficiency in financial analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing a team.
Proficiency in ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
