HVAC Mechanical Engineer

We are recruiting for a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer / HVAC Engineer to work on a prestigious central Manchester facility. The work will cover PPM and reactive works plus minor works on AHU's, FCU's, pipework, venting, pumps, valves, AC (if F-Gas) and associated plant room. The position is Permanent working circa 40 hrs / week. Monday to Friday days. Salary is up to 39k basic plus overtime. On-call TBC
 
Job Description:
Your role will be to cover general HVAC maintenance. The main aspects of the role will be to:
* Deliver a responsive breakdown and planned preventative maintenance service
* General building services engineering across mechanical plant
* Work to all policies / procedures and safe systems of work for estates related works in accordance with statutory requirements
* Provide maintenance to: HVAC, Plumbing, pipework, venting, pumps, valves, feeds, motors and associated mechanical plant room equipment
* Minor project works / small works and refurbishment
* General compliance checks, tap temps and TMV's etc.

Person Specification
An suitable mechanical Apprenticeship and a City and Guilds or equivalent is required for this role.
Familiar with maintenance operations
Pipefitters welcome to apply as training will be given
Multiskilled background
Familiar with commercial grade equipment and sites
Excellent communication skills
Desirable but not essential - AC-R with F-Gas
