DOE Director of Business Development

Empresa: Advanced Automation Corporation
Tipo de empleo: A tiempo completo

As part of the U.S. Department of Energy’s responsibility to maintain a safe, secure, and effective nuclear deterrent, Advanced Automation Corporation (AAC) is looking for a Director of Business Development to lead an already high-performing team. This position requires a familiarity with the System Engineering Life Cycle and DoD or DOE Acquisition Life Cycle. This may include directing and mentoring matrixed employees pursuing capture management in AAC's other business areas. The selected candidate will be expected to develop new standards and business processes for tracking potential business opportunities and oversee the adherence to standards across all business development efforts.
The successful candidate will:
Have demonstrated past knowledge and experience with multiple DOE/NNSA sites and labs
Effective communications skills at the Executive Leadership level
Be comfortable in complex organization structures
Establish standards, processes, and business rhythm for all new business development efforts across AAC and its Joint Venture partners
Mentor and monitor work quality for matrixed resources
Exercise expert emotional intelligence, influence, persuasion, conflict management, and problem solving skills
This position may be performed remotely from anywhere in the continental US; however, candidates located within commuting distance of Oak Ridge, TN; Aiken, SC; Albuquerque, NM; or Amarillo, TX are preferred.
