Position Overview:
The Senior Manager of SEO is a key role within the M3 USA Central Services Marketing team, responsible for driving tangible growth through effective and innovative search engine optimization strategies. This independent contributor will work closely with various M3 USA companies, demonstrating expertise in both technical and on-page SEO. The role requires a deep understanding of search engine algorithms, a strategic mindset, and the ability to collaborate effectively with different stakeholders.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

SEO Strategy Development: Create and implement comprehensive SEO strategies to increase visibility, drive traffic, and improve search rankings across multiple M3 USA companies.
Technical SEO: Conduct website audits, identify technical SEO issues, and work with the development team to implement fixes.
On-Page SEO: Optimize web content, including meta tags, headers, and content structure, to improve search relevance and user engagement.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams and external partners to align SEO strategies with overall marketing goals.
Performance Monitoring: Regularly monitor and report on SEO performance using analytics tools, providing insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
SEO Trends and Best Practices: Stay up-to-date with the latest SEO trends, algorithm updates, and best practices, implementing changes as necessary.

Keyword Research and Analysis: Conduct in-depth keyword research to identify high-potential keywords and phrases relevant to each M3 USA company's products or services. Analyze search volume, competition, and relevance to ensure the selection of keywords that will drive targeted traffic and conversions.
Link Building and Off-Page SEO: Develop and implement effective link-building strategies to improve domain authority and search rankings. Establish relationships with authoritative websites, blogs, and influencers for quality backlink opportunities. Monitor and manage the company's backlink profile to protect against harmful links.
SEO Content Strategy: Collaborate with content teams to develop an SEO-focused content strategy that aligns with user intent and search trends. Guide the creation of engaging, valuable, and SEO-friendly content, including blog posts, articles, and landing pages.
Local SEO Optimization: For M3 USA companies with local target audiences, develop and execute local SEO strategies. Optimize Google My Business listings, manage local citations, and ensure NAP consistency across directories and online platforms.
Mobile SEO: Ensure all M3 USA company websites are optimized for mobile search, considering factors like mobile-friendly design, page speed, and mobile user experience. Stay updated with mobile-first indexing updates and adjust strategies accordingly.
SEO Training and Development Programs: Create and conduct regular SEO training sessions for different teams within M3 USA. Develop resources, such as guides and best practice documents, to foster a deeper understanding of SEO throughout the organization.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other marketing functions such as social media, email marketing, and PPC to ensure a cohesive and integrated digital marketing strategy. Share insights and collaborate on campaigns that can benefit from SEO insights.
Voice Search Optimization: Recognize the growing importance of voice search and develop strategies to optimize for voice queries. Focus on conversational keywords and structured data to improve visibility in voice search results.
