Hire Resolve’s client is a leading Civil Engineering firm that is urgently seeking the expertise of a Civil Designer in Houston, TX.
Responsibilities:
Create civil grading and roadway/linear models using Civil 3D and prepare 2D drawing packages from the design models
Prepare material quantities (cut/fill volumes, etc.) from the Civil 3D model files
Create drawings with minimal supervision
Develop technical drawings (determining appropriate scales, arrangement, and specific details of the drawings) from the concepts required by the engineering team
Respect and enforce internal and client policies and procedures in the preparation of drawings
Perform other related duties that may contribute to the project's completions
Requirements
Hold an associates or higher degree or equivalent technical qualifications in CAD
Have minimum of 3 years of experience in civil drafting and/or engineering
Have good communication skills (oral and written) in English
Excellent knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil3D software
Ability to work with minimal supervision
Ability to work to meet cost objectives, quality and deadlines
Time management skills and adaptation to change

Salary: $60K/yr - $90K/yr negotiable
