Join our vibrant team of Engineers at Siemens Data Centers in the Netherlands! We're at the forefront of an exciting phase of expansion, with projects spanning the globe. As part of our growth, we're seeking talented individuals to join our E-house department, specializing in prefabricated substations for power distribution.

Your role will vary depending on your specific job description, but you'll collaborate closely with our team of (lead) engineers. Our fast-paced environment, coupled with the high expectations of our clients, ensures dynamic projects from start to finish. You'll be integral to each project's journey, from conceptualization to delivery, maintaining constant communication with both our clients and E-house manufacturing facilities. Expect to engage in site and factory visits as part of your responsibilities, necessitating periodic travel.

Your duties may encompass:

• Generate detailed designs (Electrical or Mechanical).

• Investigate and advise on different subjects like: Mechanical or electrical interfacing, lay-outs, choice of components, fire safety, HVAC, electrical systems, cabling and containment, etc.

• Interfacing with your direct co-workers for low voltage, medium voltage and busbar systems.

• Review of basic designs, detailed designs and project related documentation.

• Proactively communicate with the customer and suppliers on project related aspects.

• Organize and attend factory acceptance tests (FAT).

• Prepare the technical documentation package.

• In-office support for the production and on-site delivery.

• Proper project closing and handover.

• Initiate and execute process, product and project improvements

• Bachelor degree or a Master degree, with at least 5 years of experience. Education: Electrical engineering and power engineering

• Precise, positive, critical and a broad technical interest.

• Flexible working attitude, hands-on and result driven.

• Good communicator, not scared to ask the difficult questions and always eager to learn more.

• Fluent in English, basic Dutch or willing to learn.

• Driver license.

• VCA-VOL

Primary employment conditions

• A gross monthly salary of up to €4500
• A 13th month payment, pro-rated periodically
• 8.33% holiday allowance calculated on 12 monthly salaries

Secondary employment conditions

• Pension Plus scheme (build-up from day 1)
• 5% ADV allowance
• Net €750,- to set up your home workplace
• 25 vacation days per year based on 40 hours
• Travel allowance
• Internet allowance
• Home office allowance

You will be seconded for one year via Yacht, with the possibility of being considered for a permanent position at Siemens after this year
