As a Product Market Specialist you will be responsible for the off highway segment such as military, construction and mining industry. You will report directly to the Regional Marketing Director EMEA. Your main tasks & responsibilities are: Market & customer analysis & profiling – (Explore - Analyze): Analyzing market information, Voice of Customers, user requirements to defend market position or expand and explore new market and segment opportunities; OEM customer strategy, company product portfolio (vehicles, powertrain etc.) analysis; Meet with customers (OEM, fleet) and industry players face-to-face to capture the voice of customers; Continuously collecting and building a pipeline of new ideas, growth initiatives and programs to grow the business or defend programs for major threat area’s; Product portfolio analysis – price/positioning and mapping product requirements and gaps; Performing Total Cost of Ownership (TCO) /Total Economic Value (TEV) calculations of our own and benchmark alternatives / competition; Monitoring and reporting performance of segments/vocations and products. Opportunity plans & definition - (Plan – Define): Identifying market growth opportunities and translating opportunities into product-market roadmaps, strategy and plans for the region; Product market pricing and TEV strategies and structures; Consolidate application requirements (OEM vehicle profile, engine specifications, duty cycle and application information) and mapping those with main product specifications / requirements translated by product management and engineering team to support new product development programs and product modifications through new product development (NPD) and product modification (OS) processes; Developing and implementing integrated marketing plans, liaising with all functional and regional departments to ensure (sub)segment/product launches are effective and providing ongoing support to achieve sales performance goals; Working closely with Global Product Managers, Global Marketing Analysts and regional EMEA Sales and Sales Engineering team to share and discuss ; Coordination (Implement): Manage and prioritize major initiatives and ideas; Synthesizing all internal and external stakeholders input on features and priorities; Presenting plans to EMEA leadership and global marketing and product management teams as needed; Conduct frequent calls and meetings across all departments and track actions, issues and risks; Developing and delivering training presentations and materials for sales and support. JOB REQUIREMENTS AND EDUCATION Bachelor degree in Automotive, Mechanical Engineering, Marketing or related field of study. At leat 5 years of experience in industrial /B-2-B product management/marketing. Experience in the commercial vehicle market is an added advantage. High proficiency in English (both written and oral). PERSONALITY TRAITS Customer centric, growth driven, strong ability to guide, influence and bond with customers at all levels.
