Salary: £26,000 to £30,000 + Benefits
Type: Full-Time, Permanent
Hours: Monday to Friday / 08:00 – 17:00

At Loom Talent, we're excited to partner with an innovative 3PL start-up poised to shake up the logistics landscape. Based in Kettering, this budding company is looking for a Transport Planner who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is keen to make a tangible impact.
The Role:
The Transport Planner will be pivotal in orchestrating the daily transport operations. Your day-to-day will involve crafting efficient routes and fleet optimisations that not only meet but exceed customer expectations within a multi-user, multi-drop environment. You'll ensure every plan is cost-effective and tightly integrated with vehicle maintenance schedules to uphold superb service continuity.
The Candidate:
* A minimum of two years (or more) experience in transport planning, ideally gained in a fast paced, environment.
* A background in 3PL would be the cherry on top but isn't a deal-breaker.
* Freight Forwarding experience would be highly advantageous, but not essential.
* A knack for IT, Transport Planning & TMS systems, creating slick, smart routes.
* Analytical prowess to dissect costs and performance, fine-tuning them into a well-oiled logistical machine.
* Stellar communication skills, because you’ll be at the heart of conversations with both customers and internal teams.
