CNC Operator / Setter

CNC Setter / Operator Required!

BE Recruitment are recruiting a CNC setter / operator on a permanent basis for an engineering client. They're located in LE19, working in the aerospace industry.

Shift:

Sunday - Thursday | 22:00 - 06:00 (Night Shift)

Pay:

£18.10 P/H (£37,500 PA)

Benefits:

Pay Rising by 0.5% in July 2024
Pay Rising by Further 0.5% in October 2024
10% Employer Pension Contribution

Specific Responsibilities

Set, Fault Find & Operate machines to produce fasteners to strict tolerances.
In process deburring and Self Inspection
To use gauges and measuring equipment to ensure product meets required specifications.
Self-certification of personal work.
To prove out downloaded programs so they are in line with the correct timings in accordance with our manufacturing and quality standards and then to upload the proven program.
Keep all computer files and manual paperwork accurate and up to date at all times.
Responsible for producing SPC charts and records.
Ensure housekeeping is maintained to the highest standards.
Ensure all quality procedures are adhered to, taking an active part in root cause analysis.Company Responsibilities

Maintain full compliance with policies and procedures and conduct all activities in accordance with the Business Conduct.
To adhere to all company EHS requirements and actively participate in the identification and elimination of hazards.
To undertake and promote their own self development, in line with Company and personal aims.
Perform other duties as assigned.
Education, Experience & Background

Experience of working within a busy Manufacturing environment.
Experience setting CNC Machines preferably DMG/Mori/CMZ/Doosan with fanuc/sieman controls
Aerospace experience would be advantageous.
