Embedded C Development Engineer

We are currently recruiting for a full time position as Embedded C Development Engineer, for a global organisation in the Welshpool area.

Main roles and responsibilities:

* Creating Embedded Industrial communication interface modules, focusing on software development, testing, and certification.

* Ensuring product maintenance across different lifecycle phases.

* Building a comprehensive understanding of our systems and embracing new technologies to enhance our applications.

* Contributing to the definition of hardware and firmware architecture.

Qualities and requirements we are looking for in a candidate

* Possessing a degree in a pertinent Software or Electronics field

* Be familiar with PLC programming (CoDeSys, Rockwell, Siemens)

* Demonstrating proficient skills in Embedded C Programming, including adherence to standards like MISRA and secure coding practices

* Experience with C# programming for development of support and test tools

* Familiarity with V-Cycle and Agile Development methodologies

* Experience with Industrial Communication Protocols (EtherNet/IP, PROFINET, EtherCAT etc)

* Proficiency in using version control software

* Be familiar with Serial communication protocols (Modbus RTU), USB and Bluetooth

* Excellent communication abilities and adeptness in collaborative teamwork
