Site Manager

Smart Solutions is seeking a Site Manager for one of the UK’s leading specialist tunneling contractors working throughout the UK. You will join the team in planning, designing, and overseeing projects.

Responsibilities:

* Project Oversight: Manage day-to-day operations at the construction site, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, quality standards, and project timelines.

* Coordination: Collaborate with project stakeholders, including engineers, subcontractors, and suppliers, to ensure smooth project execution.

* Documentation: Maintain accurate records, including progress reports, safety logs, and site documentation.

* Resource Management: Allocate resources efficiently, including labor, equipment, and materials.

* Problem-Solving: Address any issues that arise during construction, making informed decisions to keep the project on track.

* Communication: Regularly update project status to senior management and communicate effectively with team members.

Requirements:

* Experience: Extensive experience as a Site Manager in the construction industry.

* Technical Skills:

* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.

* Engineering background (advantageous).

* Leadership: Strong leadership and team management skills.

* Safety Focus: Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.

* Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.

* Problem-Solving: Proactive approach to identifying and resolving challenges.

* Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

* Got to be willing to work away from home is a must
