Our innovative client, a clear lead in their field is looking for an experienced Solar PV designer to join their interesting and expanding business. Our client is committed to delivering high-quality projects and has an impressive portfolio of work in high-end markets.
 
As Solar PV Designer you will play a crucial role in the design and development of Solar PV Projects.
 
Key Responsibilities as Solar PV Designer

Compiling shading analysis and feasibility studies
Using AutoCAD software to create detailed layout plans, diagrams, and electrical schematics.
Working closely with a variety of other teams within the business such as Project Manager, engineering and clients to develop customised solutions.
Perform system sizing calculations, equipment selection, and component specifications based on site conditions, electrical load profiles, and regulatory standards.
Keep up to date with industry trends and technological advancements. 
Experience as Solar PV Designer

Solid demonstrable AutoCAD and PV*Sol, Helioscope, PVSsyst experience
NVQ Level 3 Electrical or equivalent
A good understanding of MCS Regulations
At least 5 years’ experience working within solar PV system design and engineering.
Knowledge of UK-specific electrical codes, standards and regulations related to PV installations.

39 hours per week, Monday - Thursday 8.30am - 4.30pm / Fri 9.00am - 4.00pm
