A leading Engineering business near Wymondham are looking to hire an experienced Procurement Engineer.
This role will see you supporting the businesses Research & Development, New Product Introduction, Applications and QA teams, as well as their Global and European Customer base.
Responsibilities will include:
Work with engineering teams to source and purchase materials, tools and equipment.
Raise purchase requisitions and purchase orders.
Provide administration support for NPI projects.
Work with engineering teams to control & store materials.
Manage import / export of materials and equipment
Manage capital purchase request process
Planning and scheduling
Analysis and monitoring of R&D spend
Development and improvement of processes
Qualifications and skills required:
Ideally be qualified to A level standard, although candidates with the correct attributes without these qualifications will be considered
Science or Engineering background, ideally within a Supply Chain and/or Procurement function.
Oracle Systems experience (desirable)
Good verbal, written and communication skills.
Excellent attention to detail.
Very good Excel skills.
Project Management tools such as MS Projects, WorkFront or SharePoint would be an advantage
