We are currently recruiting for a Buildings Manager to join a team working within the education sector.

They’re looking for someone with a background within Health & Safety and Facilities Management who has practical hand-on maintenance skills.

Typical duties would include:

* Developing, implementing and reporting on Health & Safety standards and procedures.

* Commission health and safety audits and actioning any recommended changes.

* Review and manage any security issues within the site.

* To be a key contributor to the environmental sustainability policies.

* Assisting to inspect the site with a focus around Health and Safety risks on site.

The successful candidate:

* Previous experience in either a Health & Safety, Facilities Management or Buildings Manager role.

* NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent Health & Safety qualification.

* Comfortable undertaking hands on building maintenance tasks.

* Experience managing large budgets.

* Excellent communication skills and comfortable reporting into key stakeholders.

It would be beneficial, but isn’t essential if the successful candidate had previous experience in the education sector.
