IT Support Engineer (1st Line)
Salary: £21,000 to £25,000
Location: Bristol

Responsibilities:

* Deliver initial customer support for incidents and service requests, encompassing technical assistance for computer systems, software, and hardware pertaining to company-supported and military-grade computer applications and platforms.

* Maintain accurate progress information for each ticket on an internal service desk system, ensuring timely updates to guarantee users receive comprehensive IT support.

* Address interactions via in-person communication, phone calls, email correspondence, or formal ticketing systems.

* Appropriately categorize and redirect customer issues beyond the scope of first-line support to the relevant second-line resolver team, whether internal or contracted from a third-party provider.

* Employ troubleshooting skills to swiftly identify and resolve faults and issues.

Required Skills:

* Proficient customer service skills, adept at delivering exceptional service to all users.

* Capable of effectively managing and prioritizing tasks within a fast-paced environment.

* Demonstrates personal accountability, ensuring tasks are seen through to completion.

* Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.

* Solid IT proficiency, possessing a thorough understanding of Microsoft Applications.

* Uphold high levels of customer satisfaction by promptly and professionally addressing client inquiries and escalations, while fostering positive relationships with Team Leidos business partners and other core service providers.

* Demonstrate effective time management skills, capable of prioritizing tasks with minimal supervision and responding to work demands at short notice.

* Continuously monitor support workload to ensure timely and effective support for application and hosted environments, aligning with business priorities.
