DEPUTY CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER

Salary: £27,038 per annum (£45,063 1FTE) + benefits (pension, flexi-time, 25 days’ paid holiday pro rata)

Hours: 21.75 hours per week

If so, you may be the person we are looking for to join our executive management team and support the sustainability and growth of our leading Devon rural community development charity.

We are currently seeking an inspiring and dynamic individual to join our leadership team as Deputy CEO. At Devon Communities Together, we are committed to enhancing the quality of life in rural communities through a diverse range of impactful programmes. As Deputy CEO, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of our organisation, working closely with our CEO and Board of Trustees to deliver our mission and vision. This is an incredible opportunity for an outstanding person who is strongly aligned with our values and who has the inclusive leadership approach, vision, skills and experience to support and grow the future work of Devon Communities Together.

We are looking for a highly experienced and dynamic individual to lead Devon Communities Together’s operational delivery. Do you have proven experience in a senior leadership role within the VCSE sector, strong strategic thinking and operational management skills, excellent interpersonal and communication abilities and a demonstrated ability to lead and inspire teams? The post will include monitoring and evaluating against organisational targets, developing internal systems to improve efficiency, supporting staff wellbeing and inclusive working practices and maintenance of quality standards alongside developing and sustaining key partnerships.
