Large Format Production All Rounder

Job Title: Sign Fitter / Sign Maker

Salary: £27K + overtime

Type of Hours 9am-5.30 Monday-Friday

Location: Abingdon, Oxfordshire

My client are a well-established and fast moving, large format Print and Sign production company who are looking for an experienced Installer and Production all rounder to join their team.

The ideal candidate for this role should have experience in Sign Installation and graphics production including the application of vehicle graphics, cutting, weeding vinyl and applying to various substrates.

This hands-on role will require a highly motivated, self-disciplined team player to work alongside the existing team. You will need to be adaptable and able to multi task.

Skills in the following disciplines would be beneficial.

Duties will include:

• Applying graphics to a variety of substrates, including window graphics, panels, fascias digital wall coverings and vehicles.

• Carrying out installations using power tools and access equipment

• Interpreting briefs accurately with a strong understanding of signage and manufacturing techniques

• Printing, cutting and laminating vinyl

• Occasionally conducting site surveys.

About you:

• A minimum of 3 years plus experience making and installing a wide range of signage including vehicle graphics.

• Experience using plotters, large format printers and laminators

• Clean driving licence

• Excellent Customer Service Skills

• Reliable, good time keeping and strong work ethic

• Sense of humour, professional, flexible, enthusiastic, be a good communicator, well organised and be able to work alone as well as part of a team

• A strong understanding of the importance of health & safety

• Experience of vehicle wrapping (desirable but not essential)

• IPAF/PASMA/CSCS accreditations (desired but not essential)
