Rate of pay: £17.50ph - £22.50ph (dependant on experience)

Hours:

Early shift, Monday - Thursday, 6am - 2.15pm.
Late shift, Monday - Thursday, 2pm - 12.15pm (incurs premium)
Overtime rates available.Position Overview:

This position is within a dynamic and expanding manufacturing company, specialising in the design and manufacture of gears, shafts, transmission, and highly complex CNC machined parts for multiple industries. Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated CNC Lathe Programmer, Setter, and Operator to join their team.

Key responsibilities/ duties:

Set up, program, and operate advanced CNC lathes (Doosan and Nakamura) to produce complex parts.
Analyse blueprints, strong GTD skills interpreting engineering drawings, and engineering information to determine best machining practices.
Collaborate with engineering team to optimise the machining processes and improve efficiency.
Monitor the quality and accuracy of the finished product and make necessary adjustments to the machines and processes and improve efficiency.
Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies and procedures.
Maintain accurate records of production runs, job setups, and quality control data.
Responsible for the cleanliness and tidiness of the working area and environment.Further benefits:
