FABRIC MAINTENANCE ENGINEER
The Basics
* Location: London
* Salary: £34,000 Per Annum + C/O + Overtime (Salary Negotiable DOE)
* Job Purpose: Carry out Planned and Reactive Maintenance Duties & Minor Works for Building Fabric; Painting, Carpentry, Decorating, Repairs etc
* Client: One of UK’s longest serving M&E/Building Services Contractors, specialising in Heritage Works and Listed Buildings/Sensitive Building Projects
* Start Date: ASAP
Fabric Maintenance Engineer Duties & Responsibilities
* You will be working as part of a small maintenance team, based in and around London.
* Working on a variety of occupied properties, including Commercial and Heritage sites
* Planned Preventative Maintenance as well as Repairs and Reactive works to all building Fabric
* PPM’s and repairs including basic Carpentry, Painting/Decorating, Fixing Leaks, Blockages, Tap Temps, General Wear & Tear repairs, Doors, Windows etc
* Responding to more reactive calls and utilising your fault-finding skills to carry out any repairs required
* Client facing: Providing clients with Technical Advice where required and offering solutions to problems
* Adhering to H&S Guidelines
Fabric Maintenance Engineer Skills & Experience
* Ideally Qualified in a trade such as Carpentry & Joinery or Painting & Decorating etc
* Health & Safety Training
* IPAF or PASMA beneficial
* Full UK Drivers Licence
