Welder Fabricator

Nelson Permanent Placements are currently representing our client who are a reputable international Manufacturing business. Our client are now looking for and experienced Welder Fabricator to join the business on a permanent basis.

The ideal candidate will have:

* Previous experience within Fabrication

* Previous experience within MIG Welding

Key Responsibilities:

* Producing parts to drawings

* Set and operate pierce, crop and curving machines

* Use you experience to apply good quality welds to fittings

* Use measuring equipment to make quality components

* Ensures departmental and all company procedures are followed

* Responsible for ensuring recycling is carried out to the agreed standard

* Work to Health and Safety within you work area.

* Involvement in continuous improvement processes and driving through improvements in all aspects of the role.

* Ensuring that good levels of 5S are maintained on all machines, areas, and tooling

* Performs Other Duties as Assigned

Hours of work:

You will be 39 hours per week working 2-week rota shift pattern -

* Shift 1 – Monday -Thursday 6am -2pm and Friday 6am-1pm

* Shift 2 – Monday-Thursday 2pm-10pm and Friday 1pm-8pm
