Job Title: Buyer FTC

Locations: Birmingham

Assess and select service providers based on criteria such as expertise, quality, reliability, cost-effectiveness, and compliance with the business standards and requirements.
Negotiate favourable terms and conditions in contracts and agreements with service providers, including pricing, scope of work, performance metrics, and service level agreements (SLAs).
Work with internal stakeholders to understand service needs and specifications, and develop sourcing strategies to meet those needs, providing necessary advice and support.
Perform market research and analysis to identify potential service providers, industry trends, and best practices.
Lead the RFx process for relevant contracts, including drafting documents, evaluating proposals, and selecting qualified vendors.
Collaborate with business, legal, and finance teams to review and approve contracts, ensuring alignment with policies and regulations.
Utilise central procurement software to manage contract review cycles, maintain accurate records, and generate reports on purchasing activities and performance metrics.
Adhere to central and regulatory control frameworks.
Support reporting requirements for savings targets allocated to the business, contribute to committee meeting packs, and update local procedures.Ideal Candidate:
