Job Description:
We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled Temporary Finance Officer to join our team in the education sector. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the financial operations and ensuring the smooth financial running of our institution. This role requires a detail-oriented individual who can manage multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
Key Responsibilities:

Submit the budget to governing bodies.
Forecast future years' budgets based on funding trends and expenditure.
Provide financial analysis to support long-term decision-making.
Oversee the institution's bank accounts, ensuring all transactions are accurate and money is banked promptly.
Use information management systems and financial software for financial reporting and budgeting.Qualifications and Experience:

Ideally, a Level 4 Finance Diploma or equivalent qualification (flexibility for candidates with strong relevant experience).
Previous experience using information management systems and financial software.
A current DBS (Disclosure and Barring Service) check is essential for this role.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
