As an Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and operation of industrial furnaces, high-pressure steam boilers, and gas turbines in a large-scale manufacturing or processing facility. Your role involves ensuring these systems are functioning safely and efficiently, adhering to safety and environmental regulations, and providing technical support to other plant operations.

Description

Perform regular maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on industrial furnaces, high-pressure steam boilers, gas turbines, and related equipment.
Monitor boiler systems to ensure proper function, pressure levels, and temperature controls. Adjust settings as necessary to maintain optimal performance.
Ensure all equipment and procedures comply with safety regulations and standards, including OSHA, EPA, and other relevant guidelines.
Develop and execute preventive maintenance schedules to minimise downtime and extend the life of equipment.
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, including logs of inspections, repairs, and safety checks.
Work closely with other engineers, plant operators, and maintenance staff to coordinate activities and resolve technical issues.
Be prepared to respond to emergency situations, such as equipment failures or safety incidents, in a timely and effective manner.
Identify opportunities for improving equipment efficiency and reliability. Provide input on upgrades and modifications to existing systems.Profile

A successful Reliability Maintenance Engineer should have:

High school diploma or equivalent; technical or engineering degree is preferred.
Experience in industrial boiler maintenance, with specific experience in high-pressure steam boilers, furnaces, and gas turbines.
Relevant certifications in boiler operations or pressure vessel maintenance are highly desirable.
Strong mechanical aptitude, with experience in welding, plumbing, and electrical systems related to boiler maintenance.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex mechanical issues.
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to interact effectively with team members and management.
Ability to work in challenging environments, including confined spaces, high temperatures, and at heights.Job Offer
