Hgv Class 2 Driver

The Recruitment Crowd are currently recruiting on behalf of our well known and industry-leading client based in the South Kirby area. We are looking for experienced Class 2 Drivers (CAT C) to join the team.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 4am -1pm

Pay Rate: £15 per hour PAYE.

Location: South Kirby

Job Type: Temporary/ongoing

The role:

* Collecting clinical waste from various healthcare facilities, including care homes and hospitals.

* Prepare the small base truck for daily operations.

* Utilise a compaction vehicle for waste disposal.

* Perform local collections, wheeling bins to the back of the truck, and operating the bin pick-up mechanism.

* Use a PDA for tracking and recording collections.

* Depending on the volume, complete 25 to 60 collections during your shift.

* Maintain physical fitness, as the role involves some heavy lifting.

Requirements:

* Full UK driving licence with Class 2 entitlement (category C).

* Valid and in date DCPC and Digital Tachograph card.

* No more than 6 points on licence (minor offences only).

* Full understanding of WTD legislation.

* Strong work ethic and commitment to safety.

* Availability for early morning shifts.

* Physical fitness and capability to handle waste containers.
