As a Teacher of Science, you will play a pivotal role in fostering a love for the subject among students, encouraging their curiosity, and guiding them towards academic success. Key Responsibilities:
Delivering engaging and effective science lessons across Key Stages 3 and 4, adhering to the national curriculum.
Creating a stimulating and supportive learning environment that encourages student participation and achievement.
Assessing and monitoring student progress, providing constructive feedback and tailored support to ensure every student reaches their full potential.
Collaborating with colleagues to develop and share best practices, contributing to the continuous improvement of the science department.
Participating in extracurricular activities and school events, enhancing the overall educational experience for students.Candidate Requirements:
A relevant degree in Science or a related field, along with Qualified Teacher Status (QTS).
Demonstrable experience in teaching science at the secondary school level.
Strong subject knowledge and the ability to convey complex concepts in an accessible manner.
Excellent classroom management skills and the ability to inspire and motivate students of all abilities.
