Material Development Engineer| Retford | Salary - £45000 - £55000
Cherry Professional are currently working with a well established and Engineering and Manufacturing company. As the Material Development Engineer you will be responsible for the specification, development, and implementation of new material technologies.
Responsibilities:

Developing and establishing new manufacturing and testing processes
Ensuring adherence to company policies and business regulations
Designing, organizing, and executing material development and qualification programs in customer specific applications
Collecting, recording, collating, maintaining, and analyzing of material properties, derived from experimental data
Applying materials expertise (polymers in particular) to assigned products
Technical communication with customers/suppliers in support of business development or sales activity
Developing new polymer-based products and continuous improvement of existing products and processes
Utilising specialist knowledge to deliver strategic projects (e.g., vibration and acoustic absorption) 
Ideal Candidate:

Involvement in Polymer and elastomer technology – materials and equipment Materials development - desirable
Understanding of Acoustic attenuation -desirable
Understanding of MRP systems
University Degree or equivalent
Experience in a Manufacturing / Engineering environment - desirableCherry Professional are recruiting on behalf of their client
