Our client, an independent wholesaler of renewable energy products, is seeking a skilled and motivated Senior Buyer to join their dynamic team.

As a Senior Buyer, you will play a pivotal role in procurement and supply chain operations.

Your responsibilities include sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing goods and services to meet the company's operational needs while emphasising cost-effectiveness and maintaining high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with organisational objectives.
Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, ensuring the availability of quality products or services.
Negotiate terms and conditions with suppliers to secure favourable agreements.
Draft, review, and manage contracts to ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key suppliers.
Collaborate with suppliers to address issues, improve performance, and drive continuous improvement.
Analyse prices and market trends to optimize costs.
Collaborate with quality control teams to ensure purchased goods or services meet specified requirements.

Experience:

Proven experience as a Buyer or in a similar procurement role, within the Renewable Energy and Solar Industry.
Demonstrated success in developing and executing effective sourcing strategies.
In-depth understanding of the renewable energy sector and knowledge of relevant products and technologies is a MUST.
Strong negotiation skills with a track record of securing favourable terms and conditions with suppliers.

Package:

Contract type: Full-time, permanent

Salary: £35,000 - £50,000 Depending on Experience
