JN Technical are recruiting an experienced Qulity Inspector for a specialist engineering contractor. The successful candidate will be responsible for inspecting our clients quality and welding activities at their factory in South Yorkshire.
As the Quality Inspector you will:
- Be familiar with ISO 9001:25, EN384-2, EN 1090-2 and ensure they are satisfactorily maintained
- Be involved in the Weld Procedure Qualification Testing and raising Welding Procedure Specifications
- Visual weld inspections,
- Magnetic particle testing of Welds,
- Liaise with the drawing/ design offices regarding welding and drawing issues
- Assess works to a high quality before products could be dispatched to site
- The inspection of welded joints using NDT techniques
- The reviewing of WPS, ensuring the health and safety rules were followed
Qualifications:
- Comprehensive level welding co-ordination
- NDT to PCN L2 (advantageous)
