Elevation have the pleasure of working with an industry leading, multi-million-pound plc business based in Normanton, West Yorkshire who are looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join their newest site to the company.
Salary: £47,332 + production bonus
Location: Normanton, West Yorkshire
Hours: days and nights shift pattern- every Saturday off!

Duties of this position:

Being proactive within the job focussing on preventative maintenance as well as reactive maintenance of the infrastructure and Mechanical Control Systems.
Attending to breakdowns
Actively working on a continual improvement project to ensure yourself and the company are the best it can be!
Dealing with PPM’s
Working within a team environment- you will usually be partnered up with another Electrical Engineer throughout the day
Fault finding on PLC’s such as Siemans, Beckhoff and Mitzubishi

Desired experience of an Electrical :

You must have at least Level 3 or above in Electrical Engineering (City and Guilds or NVQ based)
It would be advantageous for you to have HNC and HND qualifications but not essential
Ideally have 3 years experience within a similar environment/ job role
Must have manufacturing experience.
Must be happy working days and nights on shift rotation.
Have experience of Fault finding withing previous roles.
Knowledge and experience of Siemens s7 PLC, Beckhoff PLC, Pilz Safety PLC and Mitsubishi PLC would also be desirable.
Have experience of working within an Electrical Maintenance Engineering role previously
Must be happy within a team environment, whilst also being capable of working from own initiative
Great communication skills (reading and spoken English is Essential)
You must be open minded and flexible to change with the needs and growth of the business
