Data Migration Lead

Inside IR35 @ £235 per day

Long term project - initial contract of 3 months

Based in Northampton, flexible working

My client within the health sector has merged with some organisations to create a new digital strategy to become the UK’s most digital hospital over the next 5 years.

They are currently implementing an Electronic Patient Record systems that will improve quality care for patients and staff by having access to information using the latest mobile and web technologies.

As a Data Migration Lead, you will support the implementation and migration of the EPR system ensuring data quality and accuracy ensuring the team meets its strategic objectives.

What you will do:

* Enhance systems and processes to ensure timely information submission and production monitoring for specified statutory returns.

* Plan the delivery of development and infrastructure requests.

* Engage proactively with colleagues to understand information needs and build effective relationships.

* Create management dashboards and reports for various audiences, including the Board.

* Analyse and interpret clinical and management information from diverse sources.

* Manage projects to develop and implement data collection processes.

* Develop innovative methods for presenting complex information.

* Provide training on data sources and analysis techniques.

* Investigate and resolve data errors to improve data quality.

* Support managers and clinicians in using and interpreting information.

* Source and keep up to date on new data sources for benchmarking and projects.

* Ensure compliance with Information Governance policies.

* Represent Health Intelligence at meetings and maintain effective communication with stakeholders.

* Develop partnerships with other teams and healthcare organizations to promote evidence-based decision making.

* Lead the development of Health Intelligence Information Systems.

* Mentor junior colleagues and provide specialist training.

* Stay informed about legislation and data quality policies.

* Provide recommendations on data sources and analytical techniques for research and surveys.

* Lead junior and support staff

Technical requirements:

* Strong experience in database concepts and designs

* Experience working with SQL, PowerBI and Azure Data Factory

* SQL Server SSIS, SSRS

* Advanced with Microsoft Excel

* Using SQL including correlated queries, triggers, functions, stored procedures, cursos and table value expressions

* Ability to build data models

* Experience working within an informatics team at an NHS Trust

* Ability to troubleshoot technical and performance problems with SQL Server architecture

* Specialist with MS SQL BI tools

* Experience of using staging, integration, presentation and semantic layers for production of analytics and dashboard reports

* Strong knowledge of Data protection, security and protection agenda

Contract Details:
This is an inside IR35 contract role, offering competitive remuneration of approximately £235 per day via an Umbrella company.
