Eleven are delighted to be partnering with a ground-breaking Clean Hydrogen start-up, based in New South Wales, Australia, who are in the process of scaling-up a revolutionary, high-efficiency electrolyser, with the ability to deliver the world’s lowest cost green hydrogen.

 Backed by leading global investors in the Clean Energy sector, they have developed the world’s most efficient electrolysis cell with 95% efficiency, balance of plant simplicity and greater modular manufacturability.

As such, they are now looking for an experienced Lead Power Systems Engineer. This position would take overall accountability for modelling, analysis, development, design, and optimisation of secure, reliable electric power systems and architectures for  their high-efficiency water electrolyser, as they continue to scale up their technology.

You Will

Develop, design, and optimise secure, reliable electric power systems and architectures- including electrical systems, components, equipment, networks, utility/ customer interconnections (meeting grid operator standards & requirements)
Evaluate safety risks and use risk-analysis techniques to develop and implement mitigation measures to address potential failure modes and power system disruptions.
Coordinate the selection, procurement, assembly, installation, commissioning, and monitoring of electric power systems, equipment, and components, for their electrolyser
Lead & mentor other power engineers as the team grows & developsAbout You

A degree in Electrical Engineering, or similar field
5+ years of experience in power engineering, preferably with associated experience in data management and analytics
Hands on experience with electric power engineering systems, ideally having worked within product development
Project and team leadership experience
Experience with electrolysers, battery, or electrical energy storage systems a plus
