Band 6 Occupational Therapist

Service Care Solutions are working with Avon & Wiltshire to recruit a Band 6 Occupational Therapist to support service users in the Somerset Area. The successful candidate will provide support to patients with a range of Mental and Physical Health conditions in line with the occupational therapy pathways. The contract duration is for 3 months with the likelihood of extension.

Shifts: 22.5hrs, Wednesday-Friday, 9-5
Location: Windmill Road, Kenn, North Somerset, BS21 6UJ
Pay: £26.00 p/h LTD
Bonus: £250 Sign-Up Bonus

Job Purpose - Band 6 Occupational Therapist

The post holder will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team, carrying a defined clinical caseload for individuals. The successful candidate will provide Occupational Therapy for Service Users with mental health conditions.

Key Responsibilities

To provide a high-quality service by a dedicated team for patients referred to the Acute Therapy Service
Postholder will provide high quality and evidence based occupational therapy assessment and interventions, both group and individual, to people who access services and their carers/supporters/family members, in line with the occupational therapy pathways.
