Our client, celebrating over 75 years of excellence since 1947, is seeking a dedicated individual to join their family in West Yorkshire as a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver on a Twilight Shift pattern.

About the Job:
As a Counterbalance Forklift Truck Driver, you'll be an integral part of a fast-paced production team. We're looking for an individual with a can-do attitude and keen attention to detail, responsible for keeping the production lines stocked with raw material.
* Offloading materials and items from delivery vehicles.
* Moving stock/goods within warehouse using forklift.
* Checking products against dispatch paperwork and internal systems.
* Assisting in maintaining a safe and orderly factory environment.
* Inspecting machinery for repair needs and performing safety maintenance checks.
* Maintaining updated records of inventory and activity logs.
* Adhering to company policies and legal guidelines.
* Assisting in prioritizing workloads within the department/designated warehouse area.
Working hours:

Paid for 39 hours, no matter what
Monday to Friday, flexible start/finish:
🕖 Monday to Thursday; 2:30pm – 11:00pm.
🕗 Friday; 1.00pm – 8:00pm.
Summer Perk: in order for you to enjoy the (rare) sunshine, we give the option for you to work longer days for 4 days and get an extra day off!
About You:
* Valid Counterbalance forklift license (In-House Licences Accepted) – a reach licence alongside would be highly advantageous.
* Experience driving/operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck.
* Understanding of safety regulations and safe use of equipment, particularly forklifts (FLT’s).
* Familiarity with paper trails and stores operating procedures.
* Training in manual handling for correct lifting procedures.
* Knowledge of safe stacking procedures.
* Preferably, familiarity with AS400 computer screens for locations and quantities (training provided if needed).
* Ability to work well within a team and undertake supportive duties for the department.
