Electrical Design Engineer - The Role:

• Develop detailed electrical drawings for bespoke machinery systems, adhering to industry standards and company specifications.
• Collaborate with the design team to ensure accuracy and efficiency in electrical schematics.
• Design, implement, and calibrate electrical systems for optimal performance and functionality.
• Conduct testing and troubleshooting to ensure systems meet performance requirements.
• Create control panel layouts and designs, integrating electrical components for seamless operation of equipment.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and safety protocols in control panel design.
• Travelling to client sites within the UK and abroad for surveys, installations, and commissioning
• Participating in control panel testing and troubleshooting

Electrical Design Engineer - The Person:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field or relevant professional experience.
• Proven experience in electrical design, preferably within the industrial equipment or machinery sector.
• Proficiency in CAD software for electrical design, such as AutoCAD Electrical, AutoCAD or similar tools.
• Strong understanding of electrical principles, control systems, and instrumentation.
• Adaptability and willingness to learn new technologies and techniques.

Located in Leicestershire, this role would be commutable from; Leicester, Market Harborough, Hinckley, Lutterworth and Corby.
