Manual Machinist
Our client a growing engineering company in the outskirts of Northamptonshire is looking to recruit a skilled Manual Machinist due to growth within the business. Specialising in the design and manufacture of their own products they are well renowned for being Market leaders in their sector. Our client has a modern and growing machining facility and friendly welcoming team that can offer some support and training where required. The role will involve producing of one-off and low volume parts to tight tolerances using a variety of machinery and equipment.
Manual Machinist Requirements
* A strong background in engineering precision parts
* Manual machining experience; milling and turning
* Knowledge and Experience inspecting parts using micrometers/verniers etc.
* Ability to read and understand engineering drawings
* Ability to produce parts in a variety of different materials; mild steel,
stainless steel, brass, plastics and nickel cast iron
* Organised, flexible, reliable & a good team player
* Experience with Cylindrical grinding would be advantageous.
Manual Machinist Salary and Hours
* £15.00 per hour with a review after probation
* Pension scheme available
* Monday to Thursday – 07:30am to 4:30pm. Ealry Finish Friday
* Overtime Paid at time and a half
* On-the-job training
* Attendance bonus scheme
* 31 Days holiday
